    Ultimately, you must feel good about where you work. We run 90% direct customer freight, largely avoiding the broker market. Much of our freight includes drop & hook at one end. Our customer base includes International Paper, Owens - Illinois, Ford Motor Co., Pepsi, Behr Paint, GE - just to name a few. Out team generally stays within 500 miles of Chicago, often closer than that. As we build our business, we focus on serving our large base of Chicagoland customers by selecting specific cities to run. The work is not dedicated lanes, much most of the routes are regularly run for our drivers.

    • at least 2 years CDL OTR experience
    • No DUI's in the last 3 years
    • no more than 3 moving violations in past three years
    • few, if any, failed roadside inspections on your PSP (DOT scorecard)
    • can pass a physical with OUR doctor - a legitimate physical

    You are a person, a name - not a number. The office staff includes less than ten people including the company owner. Besides two full time mechanics, the owner works with two load planner / dispatchers to keep you moving. In 2016, we moved into a new facility specifically geared for a trucking company. Other benefits include free breakfast and lunch at the terminal, cleaning service for the the truck interiors and satellite radio. We run electronic logs and abide by HOS regulations. We will work with you - you will not simply work for us.

    In three years, we have grown to roughly 20 trucks supporting 40 some trailers. Our primary destinations are St. Louis, Louisville, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Des Moines and Chicago. We are not going to promise you a new truck on Day 1. New drivers start in our 2007 Freightliner Century trucks that include an APU. Within 90 days, drivers that work out and maintain their equipment move into newer equipment. We purchase roughly five brand new trucks per year and assign them based on performance and maintenance record - not seniority.

    If you live within commuting distance of the yard and have transportation, a five day work week is an option. Alternatively, if you need to take the truck home with you, then a minimum 12 days out policy applies. The two day orientation includes drug screening, physical, road test, e-log / mobile comm training and office orientation. And it is all paid!
