Job Descriptions Key Duties (not all duties are listed and new
duties may be added) OTR drivers must be willing to travel to the
East Coast and be out for 5 days. These drivers must not mind being
away from home most of the time. The driver must execute the
trucking assignments in the most effective, safest and most
professional way possible. The driver must represent Weinstein/PDS
in a professional and positive manner. Some Principle Duties
Include: Safety First Must plan routes; manage time to ensure
deliver in a timely manner Driver must have flexibility to adapt to
environmental conditions Loading & Unloading Knowledge of rules
and regulations Driving skills For: City traffic, Rural Highways,
Weather, and Vehicle Operations ECT. Will be out for 5 days, East
Coast, Away from home base. Delivering refrigerated goods mainly
boxed meats to warehouse and grocery stores. Pay, Expenses and
Safety Bonus Drivers are given $100 week food expenses, $25 per
stop off after first one being free. Safety bonus of $500 after
every six months if no moving violations, no DOT violations, no
damage to vehicles or product. Job Requirements Be at least 23
years of age Must have 2 year verifiable tractor trailer
experience. Must have 6 Months East-Coast trailer experiance. Must
have a stable, verifiable and successful work history Motor Vehicle
Record No more than two moving violations in the past 12 months No
major speeding tickets in the past 12 months No major DOT
reportable accidents in the past 5 years No DUI’s, DWI’s or any
other violations involving drugs or alcohol. No recklessness or
carelessness violations in the past 3 years Must be qualified to
drive a commercial vehicle per DOT standards and be able to perform
the essential physical requirements of the job detailed in
Weinstein/PDS job descriptions.
