JOB SUMMARY: Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
SCOPE AND IMPACT:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with/or without hazardous material and tanker endorsements and no air brake limitation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit while making deliveries; use hands to finger, handle, or feel while making deliveries; reach with hands and arms; talk to or hear customers; and smell leaking gas from cylinders. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and color vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Overnight travel may be required, depending on the delivery sites.
