About GMTA:
The Georgia Motor Trucking Association is the only organization in the state that provides full-time service and representation for the trucking industry. The Association serves as the "voice" of the trucking industry in Georgia, representing more than 400 for-hire carriers, 400 private carriers, and 300 associate members.
Mission:
The mission of the Georgia Motor Trucking Association is to work to make Georgia the best state in the nation in which to base and operate a trucking company. To that end, GMTA seeks to promote:
- Reasonable Laws
- Even-handed, common-sense administration
- Equitable and competitive fees and taxes
- A market, political and social environment favorable to the trucking industry
- Good citizenship among the people and companies of Georgia's trucking industry

What is the Highway Watch® Program
Highway Watch® is the highway sector’s national safety and security program that uses the skills, experiences and “road smarts” of America’s transportation workers to help protect this critical infrastructure and the transportation of goods, services and people.
Local officials and law enforcement authorities recognize the value in having extra “sets of eyes and ears” on the road. They also appreciate that Highway Watch® services augment their existing resources
