About ATA:
The Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) has served the Arizona truck and bus industries since 1937.
Following five years of meeting as a trade association, Arizona Motor Transport Association (AMTA) was incorporated on September 9, 1937, as a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade organization.
The AMTA officially changed it's name to Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) on March 19, 2004.
The mission of ATA is to serve and represent the interests of the truck industry before local, state and federal governmental agencies.
ATA's current location at 2111 West McDowell Road was built in 1965 and is close to both the State Capitol and the heart of the trucking industry in the Phoenix metro area.
ATA's membership consists of trucking companies and related allied industries. Membership is voluntary, and dues for carriers are based on "Arizona" miles traveled annually. Allied dues are at a set rate for local and regional members
