About The Alabama Trucking Association:

The Alabama Trucking Association is a non-profit corporation operated as a trade association. It represents an industry that employs one out of every ten employees in the private sector and exclusively services more than three-quarters of the State's communities. Its membership consists of more than 650 member firms including for-hire and private truck operators, along with its allied industry members (those that equip and service the industry).

It conducts activities for the improvement of trucking service to the public, and sponsor programs for the trucking industry in the public interest and industry betterment.

Mission:
Founded in 1938, the state trucking association represents the Alabama motor carrier industry in the advancement of highway transportation, and serves as the "voice of trucking" in Alabama.

Goals:
Advocating Highway Safety:
By working with state and federal regulating agencies, ATA has done its part to reduce truck crashes every year since 1998.
Driving Our State's Economy:
Delivering almost 90 percent of the products shipped into and out of Alabama each day, trucking serves as the wheels of our state's economy.

Dues:
