Maverick Transportation, Inc. Announces 2003 Referral Winner of the Year
Recruiting drivers in 2003 paid off in a big way for Maverick Driver Gary Lipscomb, as he was recently awarded Maverick's 2003 Referral Winner of the Year.
Lipscomb, a resident of Oak Hill , WV , has driven for Maverick for almost 10 years. As winner, he will receive a vacation valued at $1,700, a week of paid vacation from work, and an additional $500 of spending money for his vacation. “My wife and two sons have already decided that we will be spending the vacation at Disney World,” said Lipscomb. “They made the decision as soon as I told them, but I can't complain because this is something my wife and I have been wanting to do for the boys for a long time.”
As for his success in referring drivers, Lipscomb says, “Most of the time I get approached because the driver has heard so many thing good things about us. I am always happy to talk to other drivers about Maverick and what a great place it is to work.”
