ACT Driver Ronnie Bertrand Wins Holiday Cash Giveaway
Ronnie Bertrand, a dedicated company driver with American Central Transport (ACT), recently won $2,000 worth of holiday cash. As part of the company’s referral program, $100 was placed in a fund for each new hire, along with the names of the drivers who referred them. On December 19, a drawing determined that Bertrand was the winner.
Bertrand says he was “ecstatic” when he learned that his name was drawn. “This was an answer to our prayers about finances,” he said. Bertrand is looking forward to spending the holidays with his three daughters and the rest of his family, which he hasn’t done in years. He plans to use his holiday cash winnings for what he says will be “the best Christmas in 12 years.”
Bertrand recently returned to ACT after driving for another company. “The personnel at ACT go above and beyond. They really make me put my heart and soul into my work,” he said. “Coming back here was the best decision I’ve ever made,” he added.
The holiday cash giveaway is just one part of ACT’s most recent referral program. Four other prizes, including the grand prize—a Kawasaki 2006 Mule 610 4X4 Camo, will be given away. In addition to being eligible for great prizes, each referring driver receives a .02 cpm increase in base pay for the next six months (provided that you and your referred drivers are still employed with ACT).
