HIRSCHBACH RAISES $17,000 FOR CANCER CENTER
Hirschbach Motor Lines, Inc. was able to donate $17,000 for the June E. Nylen Cancer Center in Sioux City, IA from funds raised in their annual charity golf outing.
The money has been designated to go to the SOS (Serving Our Sisters) Program and will be used to provide mammograms and early cancer screening for women who may otherwise be unable to afford such tests.
“This year’s event was especially meaningful to me
because cancer struck our family,” said Wayne Burch, vice
president of sales for Hirschbach and coordinator of the event.
“My wife’s cancer diagnosis made it even more important
for me to support the Cancer Center,” said Burch.
