Marines Recognize Barr-Nunn

The Marines landed in Granger, IA at the headquarters of Barr-Nunn Transportation to thank employees for their support of the United States Marine Corps of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment during their deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom II. “Barr-Nunn’s commitment to our Nation’s cause and Esprit De Crops are a role model for other transportation companies to emulate,” commented a USMC representative.

Barr-Nunn employees donated razors, shaving cream, soap, hygiene items and morale boosting treats. These boxes along with banners signed by Barr-Nunn employees were sent to show support of Company E. “We want to set the bar when it comes to supporting our Nation. Many of us have fought for the freedom Americans enjoy and know what it is like to be away from loved ones. We just wanted our troops to know that they are not alone in this fight, they have Barr-Nunn behind them,” said Director of Recruiting, Doug Albrecht.
