Arnold transportation Heads Owner Operator Summit
In November 2004, Arnold transportation took their concern for the success of their contractor’s one step further by hosting an owner operator round table discussion in West Memphis, TN where management and owner operators pledged to work together to achieve their mutual goal of building a stronger partnership in 2005.
Dick Follis, Director of Fleet Development, along with Michael Gregerson, Executive Vice President of Operations, began the summit by reviewing the company’s success in 2004 and the bright outlook for another successful year in 2005. Specialty Risk Insurance and Trucker’s Home Office tax group were also present and offered outstanding advice to the contractors on how to run their business as effectively as possible.
Upon conclusion of the summit, appreciation was the overall feeling of the owner operators. They recognized the care and effort put forth by the Arnold team to make this conference happen, reaffirming the fact the company does appreciate them. The contractors all agreed they feel like a true family at Arnold. One driver said, “Arnold will stand behind you. They’ll go to the table for you. They run their business the way I run mine which makes them a perfect match for me.”
