Barr-Nunn recently announced an industry leading 401K compensation program for all of their company driver fleet beginning in 2005. “We are certainly excited about this,” commented Barr-Nunn President, Rene Beacom. “It will have a positive impact for all our company drivers.”
“Barr-Nunn has a long history of paying for performance. Our new 401K compensation program continues to reward our drivers for the hard work they do, “ explained, Director of Recruiting, Doug Albrecht. “Our new system is based on individual driver performance. The pre-tax contributions will be the equivalent to one cent per mile for all dispatched miles. ”
The new system will utilize Barr-Nunn’s mileage tracking system to identify the total number of dispatched miles of individual drivers. The total vesting period is five years with current drivers vested based on their years of service with Barr-Nunn.
