WEST SIDE ANNOUNCES INCREASED PAY IN 2004
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – West Side Transport C.F.O. Dave McIrvin recently announced changes to their professional driver job pay package. The changes, designed to help alleviate driver concerns over the new hours of service rules, take effect January 1, 2004.
“This package is a fantastic opportunity for everyone that has at least one year of OTR experience. West Side realizes that being a professional is more than just an allotted amount of seat time, and we’ve put together a package to reflect just that,” said West Side Recruiting Supervisor Tony Roe.
“The new pay package offers all West Side drivers, regardless of their experience level, the opportunity to make 39 cents per mile if they are willing to work for it,” Roe added. West Side Transport requires all drivers to have a minimum of one year OTR experience. “In addition, professionals can make an extra $3,250 in bonuses at the end of the year, if they meet the requirements.”
