PTL Announces Company Driver and Owner-Operator of the Month of August
Paschall Truck Lines congratulates Harold Shouse, on being named PTL's August Company Driver of the month, and Albert and Ida White, on being named August Owner-Operator of the month.
Prior to starting a professional career in truck driving, Shouse was a member of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. Shouse has been driving trucks for over forty years and has been with Paschall Truck Lines for eleven and a half years. One of the things that makes Shouse proud to be a driver for PTL and thankful for his award, is the treatment he receives from others such as his Fleet Manager/Director, Barry Holmgreen. "Barry really cares about his drivers and their families," said Shouse.
"Hw's also very easy to work withŠhe¹s the best." Although the award came as a surprise to Shouse, this is not the first time he has received such honors. He has been named Driver of the Month before, once in January of 1997 and once in September of 1999. He was also named Super Trucker in February of 1995 and has achieved 1,000,000 Safe Driving Miles which earned him a KY Colonel Citation from the Governor of Kentucky. The thing that Shouse enjoys most about being a truck driver is being your own boss and the freedom of being able to see new places every day.
Paschall Truck Lines would also like to congratulate Albert and Ida White on being named August 2003 Owner-Operator of the Month. Combined together, the Whites have been professionally driving for over twenty years. They have been with PTL for four years now. They enjoy the relationship they have with the company and appreciate it for recognizing their good work ethic.
"We enjoy working with PTL because we have a good working relationship with our fleet manager and dispatchers," said the Whites. They also want to extend their gratitude to Greg Cunningham and all the other employees responsible for keeping their truck moving. In addition to good work ethic, this husband and wife team also value staying safe on the road. Albert White has earned 600,000 Safe Miles and Ida has earned 500,000. When the couple isn¹t working, they like to spend their free time with family and friends. They have hopes of building a dream home in Ruidoso, New Mexico someday.
