New Freightliners are rolling in at Hornady Transportation. The Monroeville, AL - based carrier has scheduled delivery of 24 trucks beginning in December 2003 and continuing through February 2004. Deliveries of additional trucks are scheduled for each month during the remainder of 2004.
Along with the new Freightliners, 30 extra trailers have been purchased with an additional 50 ordered. This routine updating of equipment will also meet the immediate need for trailers vital to making Hornady’s drivers’ hours of service as profitable as possible.
With new Hours of Service effective January 2003, Hornady is implementing new policies to help its drivers continue to have the opportunity to make good money and still have excellent family time.
Chris Hornady, President of the company, said he expects a strong economy in 2004 and 2005 and that Hornady is planning ahead for this.
