BARR-NUNN BOOSTS OPERATOR PAY IN 2004

GRANGER, IA – Barr-Nunn President and C.E.O. Bob Sturgeon recently announced a pay increase for the carrier’s Owner Operators effective January 1, 2004.

The new plan, which adds a penny per mile for all assigned miles, loaded or empty, boosts the base pay to $0.85 with the ability to control their ½ cent per mile pay increase for every 60,000 safe miles up to $0.86 and accompanies one of the industry’s best overall packages.

Barr-Nunn has always recognized and respected the role of Owner Operators in our fleet, and this was a way to not only thank our current Operator fleet, but to get others to take a look at the advantages we have over their current situation, as well,” said Barr-Nunn Recruiting Manager Doug Albrecht.
