There’s excitement in the air as we finish up the 2005 NASCAR Busch series racing season with the #44 Coast Guard/Barr-Nunn racing team and Driver, Justin Labonte, and happily announce our Checkered Flag Promotion winner.

Here’s how the Driver Referral Program worked. There were eight Company Drivers and Owner Operators who referred a Driver who had graduated from orientation during the month of October. Each Driver earned an entry into the drawing for the opportunity to attend the Homestead-Miami Busch Series Finale on November 19th. We thank all of our Drivers for their efforts in recruiting top notch Drivers to Barr-Nunn. We appreciate your being our talent scouts.

The winner of the drawing was Owner Operator David Parker #7288. David and his wife Patricia will be attending the race with VIP Pit & Garage passes. David and Patricia are so thrilled that they will get to experience NASCAR racing up close and personal. They’ll start with Friday night’s Craftsman Truck Series finale, the most exciting racing event on the planet. On Saturday, they will stand in the pits while both the Cup and Busch series qualify with drivers and teams close enough to sign autographs, take pictures and watch them as they get ready to qualify for their final races. Saturday night will bring the roar and excitement of 43 Busch series cars fighting out for the last opportunity to win in 2005.
