Paschall Truck Lines Announces August and September Awards
Paschall Truck Lines (PTL) congratulates the winners of the August and September 2005 Company Driver and Owner Operator of the Month Awards. For August, Loyd Reynolds is the Company Driver of the Month and Tadeusz Rymsza is the Owner Operator of the Month. In September, Dolline Banks is the Company Driver of the Month and Martha Maldonado is the Owner Operator of the Month.
Reynolds is a driver of 32 years who has been with PTL for ten. He says he plans to continue driving until someone makes him quit. During his career, he has driven throughout the United States and has pulled everything from flatbeds to bullwagons. He has received three other Driver of the Month awards and is a 1.4 Million Mile Safe Driver. When away from work, he likes working around the house and spending time with his wife of 23 years, Darlene. 
Rymsza is a three time Driver of the Month and was named Driver of the Year in 2004. He has over 30 years of driving experience and has been with PTL for five years. Rymsza moved to the United States from Europe 11 years ago and he plans to travel and see the rest of the world. He enjoys trucking because each day offers a new and exciting experience on the road. He says that the best part about being a driver is “from a small space, you have a big view.”
Banks is a mother of six children and loves cooking and playing video games when she is at home. She has 23 years of driving experience and 11 years with PTL. Banks enjoys meeting new people while on the road and being able to help others when it is needed. What she really loves is just being able to enjoy life while she is driving. Her motto is “always be on time. Get the job done as safely and quickly as possible.” She was also Driver of the Month in 1996.
Maldonado has spent two of her five years as a driver with PTL. She won both 100,000 and 200,000 Safe Driving Mile Awards. She says being named Driver of the Month is “a great honor for my family and me.” To be fair, she says she has to share the award with her fleet manager and the entire crew in El Paso. She would like to thank her husband for always providing moral support as well as expertise in the maintenance of her tractor-trailer.
