Danny Herman Trucking, based out of Mountain City, Tennessee, announces a new pay plan effective November 4, 2005. This plan will result in the third driver pay increase in the last sixteen months. Under the new pay plan, experienced drivers can earn a base rate of .02 to .03 cpm higher.
Two layers of incentive pay designed to reward company drivers and owner operators who reach mileage thresholds are also part of the plan. Incentive pay can range from .02 to .08 cpm and is figured for all miles run each month and each quarter.
Company drivers can now earn from .38 to .50 cpm and owner operators can earn from .89 to .98 cpm plus a 100% fuel surcharge. Combined with generous home time and 1,500 mile length of haul, Danny Herman’s pay plan is hard to beat.
