Maintaining their history of industry leadership, Maverick Transportation, Inc. announced a brand new pay raise for current and potential drivers, effective January 2nd, 2005. “This is our second pay raise in as many years” said Stephen Selig, President and COO. “It proves Maverick’s dedication to our current fleet of drivers and our desire to recruit the best drivers out there.”

Under the new plan, Maverick will offer starting pay of $.38 cents per mile for drivers in the company’s long haul fleet and up to $.37 cents per mile in its regional fleets. Along with the pay increase, Maverick will continue to offer weekend home time, a per diem pay option, quarterly fuel bonus opportunities, tarp pay, detention pay, referral bonus, and complete medical benefits.
