C.Bean Transport Awards 12 Million Milers

Oct. 2, 2004 – C. Bean Transport, Inc., a provider of transportation, logistics and warehousing services, awarded twelve drivers and contractors with their prestigious Million Miler award during a driver’s meeting in Fort Smith, AR. Owner and CEO, Curt Bean awarded each driver a certificate and monogrammed gold watch.

“The twelve drivers we honored today have driven a combined total of over fourteen million miles, accident free,” commented Director of Safety, James Fisher. “This is equivalent to moving 5,087 loads from Los Angeles, California to New York, New York without having a single accident. C. Bean’s Million Miler recipients are James Baucom, Earl Coryell, Joe Glenn, Robert Griffith, Bennie Harmon, Stanley Ivey, Hershell McDonald, Carlos Miranda, David Oliver, Bob Polomsky, Cecil Sweigart and Roy Tucker.

C. Bean is an Arkansas based, family owned division of Bean Lumber Company, which operates approximately 300 tractors and has recently purchased one hundred and seventy T600 Kenworth tractors.
