TEXAS STAR ANNOUNCES DRIVER OF THE QUARTER

Les Chandler resides in San Antonio, TX, and has been an over the road driver since May of 2000. For sixteen years, Les was a minister for the Church of Christ with the last of those nine years spent in Petersburg, Tennessee.

A few years ago, Les changed careers, left Tennessee and returned to Texas to work in a family owned business driving a gooseneck 48’ trailer throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Eventually Les moved on to Texas Star Express in February of 2003. Les enjoys the people at TSE, the size of the company, the areas we travel in and appreciates his fleet manager R.D. Trinidad’s dedication to continue to keep him rolling.

Outside of and co-existing with his over the road work, Les makes sure to stop each day before noon, and run approximately four miles – wherever he is, whatever the weather.

For Les, it’s not only a great way to keep in shape but also an excellent stress reliever.
