ATS expands Heavy Haul division assets to 19 axles
St. Cloud, Minn. – Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS)
is pleased to announce the delivery of their first 19-axle
trailer. The 19-axle trailer was designed by ATS with the
help of Trail King Industries. The new trailer will begin hauling
customer loads this month.
For over 50 years, ATS has built business through innovation, which
included expanding equipment to meet the needs of customers. Over
the last five years, the ATS Heavy Haul Division of ATS
Specialized, Inc. has grown from having two 13-axle trailers to
over 50. The 4-axle tractor fleet has grown to over 110 in that
same period of time.

She surpassed all other drivers in recruiting, and for her efforts was awarded her very own truck. DECKER ANNOUNCES DRIVERS OF THE MONTH FOR JULY 2007
Fort Dodge, Iowa – Decker Truck Line, Inc. is pleased to announce that Charles Zimmerman was selected as the July 2007 Driver of the Month for the Flatbed division. Charles and his wife Paula reside in Wichita, Kan., and have one child, Cryseis. Charles has been with Decker for five years, and when he is not hard at work driving, he enjoys working around the house and fishing. TRANSPORT AMERICA RECOGNIZES DRIVERS OF THE MONTH FOR JULY AND AUGUST
Eagan, Minn. (16 October, 2007) — Minnesota-based truckload carrier Transport America recently announced its July and August Drivers of the Month for 2007. Each driver is recognized for his or her outstanding service to Transport America and the company’s customers. Professional company drivers selected for the month of July were Troy Kasprowicz, who has been with Transport America for eight years, received this honor previously and was also chosen as the 2006 Driver of the Year; Michael Brown, with the company for ten years; and Marcie Hamlett, with the company for 17 years. more
WTI Earns 1st Place
Warren Transport, Inc. has earned a First Place award in the
2006-2007 South Dakota Trucking Association’s Truck Fleet Safety
Contest.
The STDA Safety Management Council has judged Warren’s safety
performance (zero accidents in South Dakota) to be of sufficient
excellence to merit this first place award. The award is based on
Warren’s safety record in the state as compared with other carriers
in its division that operate in the state.

WATKINS AND SHEPARD RECEIVES $315,000 GRANT
MISSOULA, Mont. (22 October 2007) – Watkins and Shepard Trucking, Inc. was recently awarded a Workforce Training Grant (WTG) from the Montana Department of Commerce (MDC). These grants are part of a government effort to boost the economy in Montana by helping new and expanding business offset the cost of training workers. more
