Decker Truck Line Announces Drivers of the Month for October 2006

Fort Dodge, Iowa — November 1, 2006 — Decker Truck Line, Inc. is pleased to announce that Daniel Welsh was selected as the October 2006 Driver/Owner-Operator of the Month for the Flatbed division. Dan lives in Pittsburgh, Pa. and has been with Decker since March 1, 2002. Dan is an avid Steelers fan and tries to never miss watching the team play even while out on the road.

Selected as Driver of the Month for the Reefer/Van division was Mark Palm. Mark and his wife, Dorene, reside in Centralia, Mo. Mark started as a company driver in June of 1995 and two years later bought a truck and became an owner-operator leased to Decker Truck Lines.

Drivers and owner-operators are nominated each month by their dispatcher, and are selected based on their overall performance within all areas of the company; including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll and billing, and customer service. All drivers and owner-operators who are selected as a Driver of the Month will be eligible to be chosen as Driver/Owner-Operator of the Year.
