PTL Names Company Driver and Owner-Operator of the Month for July
Paschall Truck Lines congratulates Juan DeLos Reyes, PTL Company Driver of the Month for July, and Mike McChristian, Owner-Operator of the Month for July.
Reyes has been with Paschall Truck Lines for eleven of the eighteen years that he¹s been a truck driver. Prior to becoming a driver, he served in the U.S. Army for four years.
"PTL is the best trucking company that I¹ve ever worked for," said Reyes. "They do a great job getting me loads and getting me home."
Reyes didn¹t expect to receive the award but looking at his great driving record, it¹s no surprise he did. In addition to being named driver of the month, Reyes has also achieved 1,400,000 safe driving miles.
Reyes claims the best part of being a truck driver is seeing new and different places and when he¹s not traveling, he enjoys spending time with his family and going fishing.
Paschall Truck Lines would also like to congratulate Mike McChristian on being named July 2003 Owner-Operator of the Month. McChristian has been with Paschall Truck Lines for five of the 32 years he¹s been driving professionally.
"It is quite an honor, PTL is a good place to work," said McChristian, who was also very surprised when he received the award. In addition to this award, he has also achieved 600,000 safe driving miles and was named July 2002 Owner-Operator Driver of the Month.
McChristian says the best part of being a truck driver is being able to work with a lot of different people. He¹s also had the chance to help people while driving. In the aftermath of Hurricane Hugo several years ago, he donated the use of his tractor to haul a load of food and relief items to victims in South Florida.
When he¹s not driving, McChristian likes to spend time with his family. He¹s also very active in his church and co-chairs a Relay for Life team.
