Barr-Nunn Celebrates 25 Years in Business
In 1982, Robert Sturgeon founded Sturgeon Truck Lines with thirteen trucks, hauling intermodal freight from Iowa to rail yards in Omaha, Kansas City, and Denver. In 1985, the Company expanded into the common and contract freight business under the name of Barr-Nunn Transportation, and began a rapid expansion of its tractor and trailer fleets, customer base, and geographic footprint. more

ATS expands Heavy Haul division assets to 19 axles
St. Cloud, Minn. – Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) is pleased to announce the delivery of their first 19-axle trailer. The 19-axle trailer was designed by ATS with the help of Trail King Industries. The new trailer will begin hauling customer loads this month. more
CALARK’s SAFETY DIRECTOR RECIEVES AWARD FROM ARKANSAS TRUCKING ASSOCIATION
The Arkansas Trucking Association recently honored CalArk International’s Dennis Hilton as Safety Executive of the Year for 2006. This award from ATA is presented annually and given to the motor carrier safety executive whose professional qualifications, safety program and safety achievements stand out as most noteworthy. more
