Moxley named September Driver of the Month at Bolt Express

September 15, 2006 (Toledo, Ohio) – Johnny Moxley has been named September Driver of the Month at Bolt Express, an expedite carrier based in Toledo. Moxley, who has been driving commercially for the past six years, began driving for Bolt Express about one year ago. He says he thinks he may have found a place he can stay for good this time. “Bolt is a great company to work for. CTL Distribution Partners with Premier Driving Academy

Mulberry, FL — CTL Distribution Inc. has recently formed a partnership with Premier Driving Academy in Theodore, Ala., to begin training student drivers pursuing their Class A CDL and employment with CTL. With this partnership, CTL will qualify student drivers for employment prior to enrolling the student driver in Premier’s Class A training class. Under this partnership, CTL sponsors the student driver and pays for their training with a commitment from the student to become employed with CTL as a safe driver for one year. more

Decker Truck Line Announces Drivers of the Month for August 2006

After Years of Service, Drivers are Still Proud to Call Keller Home

Defiance, Ohio --- After years of driving for Keller Trucking, Inc. drivers say they are happy where they are and have no plans to leave anytime soon. Walter Bakle, who has more than 40 years of driving experience behind him, has been with Keller since 1985 and has not looked back yet. Bakle says he enjoys driving for Keller because of the atmosphere. “They are a family owned company that really cares about their employees. They treat us very well here at Keller,” Bakle says. “Keller expects you to be where you are supposed to be, but if you have any problems, just call. They are a very understanding company,” says Bakle, who was provided a great deal of support from Keller after the loss of his son at age 18. more

WARREN EARNS PRESTIGIOUS SAFETY AWARD

The Iowa Motor Truck Association has announced that Warren Transport, Inc., has earned a first place award in the IMTA’s truck fleet safety contest as the safest operating carrier in the state in its division during the year 2005. This contest, representing the safest motor carriers on the road, measures the carriers’ accident frequency ratios and honors the carrier with the fewest accidents per million miles traveled. Warren Transport amassed more than 5 million miles in Iowa during the year. more

WTI Transport Begins Offering IdleAire to Its Drivers

WTI Transport proudly announces that it will begin paying for IdleAire services for its company drivers on September 5. WTI company drivers can look forward to having perks like movies, TV, heating and air conditioning right in their cab without idling. In addition, owner operators leased to WTI will benefit from reduced IdleAire rates. All they have to do in order to take advantage of these rates is use their fuel cards, and the IdleAire service will be deducted in the same way as a fuel purchase. more
