CTL Driving Academy Graduates 300th Student

Mulberry, FL — September 29, 2006 — CTL Driving Academy first opened its doors in 2003. Today, nearly three years later, the Academy’s 300th student has graduated and joined the CTL Distribution team. As hundreds of students secure employment with CTL following graduation, opening the Academy has proven to be a great success both for CTL Distribution and the students who apply.

The CTL Driving Academy was opened as a result of the growing need to meet capacity development objectives as well as influence the training needs of drivers joining CTL. The Academy provides top quality instruction for qualified candidates seeking stable career employment with CTL as Professional Tank Truck Drivers. The goal of the Academy is to qualify candidates for full-time employment with CTL prior to any discussion about training.

Staffed with veteran CTL certified driver trainers, the CTL Academy is designed specifically to meet the needs of driver trainees. “The Academy’s training program and the instructor-to-trainee ratio of 3 to 1 is good for the trainees and has helped reduce preventable incidents and accidents,” says Jeff Parker, CTL’s VP of Loss Prevention.
