FFE Announces Truck Giveaway Winner
FFE Transportation Services, Inc. recently announced another Truck Giveaway Winner during the conclusion of their Driver Appreciation Week. This marks the second Freightliner Century show truck awarded to a well deserving driver. Requirements to be eligible for the giveaway included: meeting a certain average miles driven per week, having on-time delivery, good customer service and observing minimal safety requirements. After careful review of all eligible drivers, Clyde Williams was chosen as the winner.
When Williams was notified that he was the winner, he felt “overwhelmed with joy.” He had been driving a 1993 model tractor and was very excited about stepping up a bit. However, he still has his old truck and is considering starting a small business that will allow him to use both trucks.
Williams says he is a “lifer” at FFE. He wants to keep working for the company until he is 75. “I would go out on a limb to help FFE because they have always done that for me,” he said.
He adds that FFE is the company to work for because of the quality people who make it their home. “The people of FFE have been mentors for me. They have really taken care of me,” he said.
In his spare time, Williams enjoys going to movies, especially action flicks. He also likes to walk for exercise and go to the gym. Williams spends time with his family, including his wife Elizabeth and his three children: Chelsea, 17, Kyiera, 13, and Trévian, 10.
