Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts - Transport America
Due to Hurricane Katrina, Transport America has been collecting donations from our employees for the Red Cross to go to the hurricane victims. As of September 9th, $5,000 has been contributed and Transport America will be matching those donations.
Transport America has also partnered with Fox 9 News in Minneapolis to haul needed items south for the victims. Fox 9 coordinated a donation site in the Twin Cities and Transport America contributed 3 trailers for them to fill. Terry Heinberg, David Hugues & Leon Madson volunteered their time to take these loads to Louisiana.

Driver Opportunities- Professional Drivers & Owner-Operators
Transport America always has a place for professional drivers and owner operators. We operate in 48 states and Canada, with 80 percent of our runs concentrated in the eastern two thirds of the United States.
Our tractors are late model conventional Freightliners equipped with air-ride, voice mail messaging and Qualcomm satellites. Trailers are primarily 53-feet and consist of 80 percent dry van, 16 percent heated and 4 percent reefer.
