Barr-Nunn Continues Participation in Iowa State Fair Parade

Des Moines, IA – August 1, 2007 – Barr-Nunn Transportation celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. This company has grown to become a leader in the transportation industry. They offer outstanding pay packages and programs to keep Owner Operators and Company Drivers happy and loyal.

This month Barr-Nunn is also celebrating its annual attendance to the Iowa State Fair. The State Fair is an internationally-acclaimed event that attracts more than a million people from the mid-west and all around the world. The State Fair has been an annual tradition since 1854. This year’s theme is “Sounds like Fun”. The annual parade will kick off the Fair on August 8th. There will be more than 200 floats, animals, vehicles, novelty and performing units in the parade.

Barr-Nunn has been participating in the Iowa State Fair Parade for over 15 years now. This year for the parade, they will be decorating one tractor trailer as a Bull. They will also have another tractor in the parade pulling Barr-Nunn’s “America Supports You” trailer. This trailer is in support of a nationwide public awareness campaign highlighting how Americans are showing their support for members of the U.S. Armed Services. Barr-Nunn knew the Parade will be a perfect place to show off the trailer.
