IdleAire and Arrow Trucking Co. Announce GATS Press Conference

Just one year since the announcement of a terminal agreement between Oklahoma-based Arrow Trucking Company and IdleAire Technologies, the two companies join forces in an address scheduled for Thursday at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, Texas.

Mike Crabtree, President and CEO and Lynn Youngs, Executive Vice President, both of IdleAire will join Doug Pielsticker, President and CEO of Arrow Trucking at 1:45 pm, Thursday, August 24, in Meeting Room D-168.

In addition to the special joint announcement, IdleAire will also provide further details on the Fleet Reservation System and a status update of its new site construction schedule.

IdleAire is also pleased to announce the continued support of country music star Trace Adkins. The multi-platinum star, who performs more than 200 concerts across the country each year, serves as a spokesman and advocate to communicate the benefits of IdleAire to the backbone of this nation’s economy – the long-haul truck drivers.

Trace Adkins will be at the IdleAire booth (22129) on Thursday from 2-4pm, signing autographs and accepting entries for the Flyaway Contest in which one lucky winner will receive a trip to see him in concert. At 4:00 pm, Trace will be featured on SIRIUS Road Dog Trucking live from the show floor. Thursday night, in a VIP session at Gilley’s, guests will hear the artist perform and have the opportunity for photographs and autographs.

About IdleAire
IdleAire Technologies Corporation was formed in June 2000 to develop a high quality, reliable system to deliver a wide range of convenient in-cab services that drivers would normally expect to have only at home. The services are designed as a comprehensive solution for the long-haul industry, targeting improved driver comfort, lifestyle and rest, while saving fleets the costs associated with idling, driver retention and recruitment, and driver training – all without idling the truck engine. IdleAire’s system provides 120-volt electrical outlets, filtered central heat and air conditioning, a Pentium-class computer with color touch screen interface, high-speed Internet and e-mail, both wireless and Ethernet connections for drivers with personal computers, a telephone connection and free local phone calls, premium satellite television service, movies on demand and driver continuing education, all delivered to the truck cab. IdleAire’s system has received R&D Magazine’s 2003 R
&D 100 Award as one of the most technologically significant products of the year, the 2004 EPA Clean Air Excellence Award, the 2004 California Governor’s Environmental & Economic Leadership Award, the 2004 CALSTART Blue Sky Merit Award for commercialization of this fuel-conserving system, the 2005 Texas Environmental Excellence Award, and was a finalist in the 2005 Computerworld Honors Program.
