7/24/2007 Fleets and owner-operators may now purchase extended warranties on Eaton and Dana drivetrain components. The new Roadranger Extended Protection Plans are available for one or two years of additional protection and cover all Fuller medium- and heavy-duty transmissions, Fuller medium- and heavy-duty clutches, and Dana's Spicer medium- and heavy-duty drive axles. Extended mileage plans are also available.
"The program includes full parts and labor coverage for all warranty work," said Rick Muth, manager of lubricants and special programs for the Roadranger service program. "We see it as a very attractive investment for our customers who want to ensure that their vehicles are always operating at maximum efficiency and performance."
Muth noted that the new Extended Protection Plans have been introduced to complement the vocational program that was introduced in January 2007.
Warranty servicing is available at all North American original equipment manufacturer dealerships, which include more than 3,500 authorized locations. All replacement parts will be genuine components from Dana and Eaton and the same as those installed in the new vehicle. Coverage is completely transferable to a second owner of the vehicle.
Purchasing the Extended Protection Plans is simple, added Muth. Fleets and truck owners are given the option to include the cost of plans into the financing of new vehicles, or select and order online at roadranger.com and pay separately.
