RUAN partners with Trane to serve Texas Manufacturing Facility
Tyler, Texas — July 11, 2006 — RUAN recently announced a six-year partnership with Trane in which a dedicated fleet of RUAN drivers, trucks and trailers will manage the transportation needs of the Trane manufacturing facility in Tyler, Texas. RUAN will deliver parts and supplies to the facility and transport finished residential air conditioning units from the facility to Trane dealers in the Midwestern region.
“This is a partnership of two companies with similar values and customer service philosophies,” said Bob Silverman, vice president of sales at RUAN. “RUAN and Trane each have decades of experience in our respective areas of expertise. We are excited about this renewed partnership.”
Trane and RUAN have partnered before. In 1985, Trane began leasing vehicles from RUAN and converted the fleet to dedicated contract carriage a decade later.
