BARR-NUNN TRANSPORTATION’S OWNER AND HIS WIFE ATTENDED THE WALCOTT TRUCKERS JAMBOREE!

That’s why Company Owner, Robert Sturgeon and his wife Jane spent the day at the Walcott Truckers Jamboree on July 15th. About 17 current, former or prospective Barr-Nunn Drivers stopped by the Barr-Nunn booth while Bob and Jane were there. And Paul Baer, Don Haddox, and Don’s ten-year-old son, Zach were at the booth during the entire event.
Mr. Sturgeon said, “Attending the Walcott Truckers Jamboree as a Company and for Jane and me was well worth the investment of time and money. Our booth was set up in an informative (with Company information about pay, policies and characteristics), inviting and comfortable way. By being there and listening to each Driver’s input, we can really improve every aspect of their employment with us. I think it would be beneficial for recruiting and retention for our Company to attend more of these type events and to set up our own special driver recognition events at truck stops around the county. “
