"EYES OF AMERICA" INVITES ALL TRUCKERS ACROSS AMERICA TO BE "EYES" FOR MISSING CHILDREN

A Project of Child Watch of North America, "Eyes of America" Gears up Nationwide Effort

Orlando, FL, June 24, 2005: Unlike other missing children's organizations that use only select company vehicles to assist missing and abducted children, "Eyes of America", a project of Child Watch of North America, is inviting all truckers to participate in a nationwide, ongoing effort to find missing and abducted children. Working with national trucking associations, "Eyes of America" will provide posters of missing children on the sides of trucks. Since the organization receives no federal or state funding for this or any of its efforts, the national campaign will be accomplished with donations and sponsorships from private individuals and companies.

To spearhead this national effort, Norman Schniederhan has been brought in as national consultant and will donate his time. Norm Schniederhan was instrumental in facilitating the highly successful national promotion and event for "The Special Olympics". He created "The World's Largest Truck Convoy" involving the trucking community that now enjoys national awareness. Both he and Janet Ritchie, Director of Development, have devoted the past several years developing the concept now referred to as "Eyes of America". He developed and nurtured vital contacts through the course of his involvement in the trucking industry including: The American Trucking Association, XM Satellite Radio, Most all Trucker Magazines, OOIDA as well as Mid-America Truck Show (the largest trade show in the northern hemisphere) and the State Department of Transportation.

"This is a "labor of love" where virtually everyone can participate, from the biggest corporation to the average person", said Janet Ritchie. "For as little as a gift of $25.00, you can place a missing child's poster on a truck and have another set of "eyes" out there looking for kids. In return, you will get a certificate of appreciation with the missing child's name on it, as well as a tax deduction since Child Watch is a 501 (C) (3) charity", she said.

Recently, "Eyes of America" was featured on Radio Disney. Besides the national trucker campaign, the organization creates and produces educational safety material for families and educators including a DVD movie, starring KidSational singing group TGK, and DVD music video of children singing safety tips to children. The singing youth group "KidPower Kidz" recently released their new music video entitled "Stay Safe". Companies including Starpower Productions LLC, The Pirates Dinner Adventure, KidSational, Inc, World Gate Entertainment, Hidden Image Entertainment, Godbout Entertainment, Dan Read Cosmetics, Space Coast office of Tourism, Florida Blue sheet, Impact Management Group, Panera Bread Company, Cherokee Media FX Inc. Communication Concepts, Florida Metropolitan University, Musical Dreams, Inc. The Orange County Police Dept., Missing and Abducted Children and others donated time and resources to help produce the music video. Both the music video and DVD movie are available for free download on the website eyesofamerica.org. The music video is also being featured on BACAUSA.com Bikers Against Child Abuse and New Artist Radio.net. "Eyes of America" is dedicated to establishing a unique interactive relationship with children everywhere to assist in the prevention of abductions via safety education.

Earlier this year, Governor Jeb Bush of Florida signed The Jessica Lunsford Act into law, providing minimum mandatory sentences of 25 years to life for Florida child abductors, which was endorsed by "Eye's of America" and Child Watch.
