Schneider National to Host Associate Appreciation Days
Annual event recognizes, thanks drivers and associates in the field
GREEN BAY, Wis., -June 21, 2004- Schneider National Inc., a premier provider
of transportation, logistics and related services and North America's
largest truckload carrier, will host its Associate Appreciation Days on
Tuesday, June 22, through Thursday, June 24, at 24 company-owned facilities,
including operating centers and field offices, nationwide. This event has
been held annually for more than 20 years. Associate Appreciation Days
celebrate and recognize Schneider National's more than 15,000 best-in-class
drivers and owner operators and 1,300 field associates, including mechanics
and driver support personnel, working at company-owned facilities across
North America.
During the three-day event, associates will have the opportunity to participate in special driver-focused forums taking place at participating operating centers and field offices and enjoy a complimentary meal. Topics of discussion will focus on safety and maintenance issues as well as internal improvements to make drivers' and associates' work lives better. Leaders from Schneider National headquarters in Green Bay will be traveling to operating centers across the country to meet with associates, express their appreciation, answer questions and hear what is on the minds of driver and non-driver associates.

Representatives from XM Satellite Radio® will be on hand at select locations to offer product demonstrations and award prizes to associates. Additionally, Freightliner® representatives and other key Schneider National suppliers will be present at various locations to gather feedback from Schneider National drivers and mechanics on new equipment and to answer questions about the fleet.
