Sitton Motor Lines Celebrates 25th Anniversary
This Fourth of July, Sitton Motor Lines will have something more to celebrate than just Independence Day. The company is thrilled to announce an upcoming 25th Anniversary celebration to take place on July 5, 2004 at the company’s headquarters in Joplin, Missouri.
For Sitton, it all began with the common American dream of owning a business. David L. Sitton, along with his two sons, combined nearly 50 years of experience and their life savings to start their business. They appropriately turned their dream into a reality on the Fourth of July in 1979.
Twenty-five years later, Sitton operates as an irregular route common and contract carrier, providing service throughout the United States. The quality of service they provide comes from their experienced personnel, state-of-the-art technology, and professional driver representatives.
“It is due to twenty-five years of extraordinary commitment and service from some of the best company drivers and owner-operators in the industry that we are reaching this milestone today,” said Dick Sitton, President and C.E.O. “We appreciate all the efforts and dedication of our excellent staff members and employees.”
Because Sitton is family owned and operated, they incorporate that aspect into their business by treating their drivers like family too. That’s why the July 5th fun filled picnic is open to all drivers, employees and their families. This family bond is one of the founding characteristics Sitton has carried over the past 25 years.
The company is excited about the upcoming anniversary and looks forward to the next 25 years to come. To learn more about a career with Sitton, call 1-800-533-4765.
