Paschall Truck Lines Announces Company Driver of the Month
Paschall Truck Lines would like to extend hardy congratulations to Juventio “Juvie” Cortez, Jr. for being named the March PTL Company Driver of the month. This month marks the third time Cortez has received the driver of the month award.
Cortez is from Los Fresnos, TX and lives there with his wife, Ida Yvette, of eight and a half years. He decided six years ago to leave behind a career in farming to become a truck driver so he could better plan for his future.
Before his life as a truck driver began, Cortez had never been outside the state of Texas. Now, he takes pride in being able to see the country for a living. He is especially fond of driving in New York during the winter months because it reminds him of what his ideal Christmas would look like.
“These six years withPTL have been a wonderful opportunity to see new places and meet new people,” said Cortez. “The people at PTL have been great to me.”
He says he wakes up with a smile every morning because he enjoys his job so much. Cortez is thankful for a faithful network of friends, family and co-workers who stand behind him and he believes they are the reason he has been so successful. He is especially thankful to his father-in-law, Homey, who introduced him to Paschall Truck Lines.
