Mulberry, FL — CTL Distribution Inc. recently
promoted Scott Taylor, former manager of the Mulberry, FL,
terminal, to General Manager of the Phosphate Division. In his new
role, Scott will provide total management and strategic planning
for both terminals. Scott accepted this opportunity, taking on the
responsibility of managing the operations and sales of CTL’s
Tampa and Mulberry Terminals.
As the main point of contact for CTL’s phosphate customers, Scott is qualified by his thorough understanding of the industry and the transportation needs of CTL’s customers. Scott’s experience with CTL began in 1999, when he was hired as the Mulberry, FL, terminal manager. As such, Scott was responsible for CTL’s largest and busiest terminal, servicing CTL’s largest customers. Scott also has experience in the trucking industry prior to joining CTL, both with tank trucks at Matlack and with container management at Transus. “Scott’s background in transportation and CTL-specific experience makes him the ideal candidate for his new post,” says Ken Wieck, Director of Human Resources Driver Recruiting at CTL. “Scott is CTL’s phosphate transportation expert,” he says. Scott will continue to work out of the Mulberry Terminal.
