Decker Truck Line Announces Drivers of the Month for April 2006

Fort Dodge, Iowa – Decker Truck Line, Inc. is pleased to announce that Ray Pressler was selected as the April 2006 Driver of the Month for the Flatbed division. Ray has been with Decker since March of 2002. He lives in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Ray is a member of Decker’s Million Mile Team, achieving the two million mile level without a single preventable accident.

Selected as Driver of the Month for the Reefer/Van division was Bahne Struecker. Bahne is a company driver who resides in Algona, Iowa, with his wife, Diane. He has been with Decker since May of 1996, and is also a member of Decker’s Million Mile Team.

Drivers and owner-operators are nominated each month by their dispatcher, and are selected based on their overall performance within all areas of the company; including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll & billing, and customer service. All drivers and owner-operators who are selected as a driver of the month will be eligible to be chosen as Driver/Owner-Operator of the year.
