Petro Stopping Centers, L.P. Acquires Third Georgia Truckstop
Kingland Petro at I-95 Exit 3 to Open April 1st
March 25, 2005 -- EL PASO, TEXAS — Petro Stopping Centers announced today that it recently acquired a new truckstop location in Kingsland, GA off of I-95, at Exit 3. Remodeling work is underway and the newest Petro will open for business on April 1, 2005. This will give Petro 62 truckstops nationwide, and their third location in the state of Georgia.
"This is a very strategic location for us," said Petro Stopping Center President, Jim Cardwell.
"It provides Petro customers who drive the southern stretch of I-95 access to low-taxed Georgia fuel and the nearest Petro location on I-95 is over 250 miles to the North in Florence, SC."
The new site will initially open as a Petro:2 offering fuel and merchandise sales. The addition of a branded fast food franchise is planned for the near future and construction of a six bay Petro:Lube Truck Service Center will begin soon.
