Paschall Truck Lines Announces Company Driver and Owner-Operator of the Month

Paschall Truck Lines congratulates Randy and Teresa Hamlin on being named January 2004 Company Drivers of the Month and Samir Jakupovic on being named Owner-Operator of the Month.

The Hamlins are an outstanding couple who have had the opportunity to travel the country together while working for PTL. They met in the Army at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and have been a team for nearly 19 years.

Before joining PTL, Randy worked as a professional painter and Teresa worked in accounting in Jacksonville, Florida. Randy was employed for two and a half years when Teresa decided to join the company. They've been driving together for three and a half years.

Gardening, fishing, and watching Nascar are a few of the Hamlins' favorite hobbies while not on the road. They both agree the best part of driving a truck is being able to travel and experience the beauty of every state across the country.

Another award earned by both Randy and Teresa includes achieving 600,000 Safe Driving Miles. “Our fantastic fleet team made it possible for us to achieve these honors. PTL is such a wonderful company to work for,” said the Hamlins. Because the couple has had such great success at PTL, they plan on staying with the company until they retire.

Congratulations are also necessary for Samir Jakupovic on receiving the title of January 2004 Owner-Operator of the Month. When at home, Jakupovic enjoys spending time with his wife Resiha and three children Sabrina, Leila, and Anel. He's been employed with PTL for two and a half years and plans on trucking as long as he can.

Jakupovic is respected among his co-workers because of his willingness to always help a fellow trucker. “The way I see it, we truck drivers have to stick together like brothers,” said Jakupovic.

Receiving the Owner-Operator of the Month award is his first big accomplishment since moving to the states. According to Jakupovic, the best part about working for PTL is getting paid, seeing the scenery, and meeting different people.
