On the Road to Ownership

When FFE Contractor Charles Seward found himself without a truck, the company offered him the Clean Slate Lease Program and he was back on the road to ownership. “A little over a year ago I joined the Clean Slate Lease Program,” said Seward. “I can honestly say I am not dissatisfied.” Joining FFE as a company driver originally, Seward received the miles he wanted and the respect he deserved. After buying his own truck, he drove for the company as an owner-operator, but when he lost his truck his options were few. “When my truck went down, FFE offered me the Clean Slate Lease Program,” said Seward. “In this program, I do extremely well, and the truck will be mine in June of 2003.” more

Owens Corning Presents Maverick Transportation with 2002 Service Awards

Owens Corning recently announced their 2002 service awards and Maverick Transportation, an Arkansas based flatbed trucking carrier, came away with several of the honors. Three of Maverick's Customer Service Representatives were presented with various Owens Corning Best in Class awards. Janet Flake, Brandon Cooper, and Gary Moss all received awards from the various distribution centers that they service. All three were awarded with Best in Class Dispatch Team awards and were recognized for “excellence as a dispatch service team and for meeting and exceeding the needs of the Transportation Service Specialists in their drive to provide superior service to customers in 2002.” more
