Keller’s Home Time Gives Drivers Something to Enjoy

Defiance, Ohio --- Keller driver, Jack Fuka of Miller City, Ohio, says without Keller’s home time, he wouldn’t have the time for a life outside of driving.

Fuka, who has been driving professionally for nearly 10 years, says there’s nothing he’d rather be doing for a living than driving. “I wouldn’t do anything else. I don’t want the factory life, punching a time card in and out and having the same schedule every day. I want to be my own boss, and I get to do that driving. There’s responsibility involved, but overall, it’s not that hard of a job,” says Fuka.

Fuka, who still enjoys the home time that he does get, praises Keller for being so easy to work with. “I’m not forced to go anywhere I don’t want to go. They will work just about anything you need into your schedule,” Fuka says. “Personally, I like getting a lot of miles, and Keller gives me that and still gets me home when I want to be,” he adds.

It’s because of Keller’s ample home time that Fuka is able to coach basketball for a Catholic youth organization and serve as a baseball umpire for the state of Ohio. “I’ve been coaching for five years and umpiring for six years, and I’ve never had to miss a game for work. Keller really works hard to get me home at a time that is good for them and good for me,” Fuka says.

Fuka has been driving for Keller for a little more than seven years, and says “I’m not going anywhere anytime soon,” after his experience from leaving Keller for two months to try another company where he got home every night. “I see my kids more now getting home a couple of nights a week than I did getting home everyday just because of how the schedules worked out,” he says. “I won’t be leaving them again; that’s for sure.”
