Barr-Nunn Rewards Million Mile Drivers with Extra Vacation
Granger, IA – May 14, 2007 – Barr-Nunn Transportation is celebrating their 25th year as a leader in the trucking industry. Their strong name is rooted in their Company Drivers and Owner Operators; and so they continuously improve their pay packages and programs to reward them. Barr-Nunn is a company ready to take on anything - they’ve been ready for 25 years.
Barr-Nunn is constantly improving their internal system to stand stronger externally. They are pleased to announce a new program within the Safety Department. Drivers are encouraged to reach “Safe Miles” while employed at Barr-Nunn and, as an incentive, will receive 2 additional days of vacation in conjunction with their Safety Awards when they reach 1 million Safe Miles. Each driver that reaches this goal will continue to be granted 2 extra days of vacation for every 125,000 Safe Miles. This program went into effect January 1, 2007. Rene Beacom, President of Barr-Nunn, says “We are proud of our fleet and their dedication to safety.” An announcement will be made each month to recognize the drivers who have reached this milestone.
