Landair Transport Names and Awards 2004 Driver and Contractor of the Year
Landair Transport announces their Drivers of the Year for 2004. Each year the company chooses one Contractor driver and one Company driver who have an outstanding performance record.
The 2004 Contractor and Driver of the Year are exceptional people on and off the road. Because of their outstanding safety record and dedication to "on time" service, they have been instrumental in Landairs continued success. John Tweed, president and co-owner of Landair Transport said, "It's drivers like these two individuals that set Landair apart and at the top of our industry. We are so fortunate to have drivers like these and our other 850 drivers that call Landair their home."
Mike Swearingen, a 5-year veteran with Landair, was honored and awarded 2004 Contractor of the year. "I have found a home with Landair Transport . They get me the miles and home time I need. The people at Landair are great to work with," said Mike.
Nelson Tolbert, an 8-year veteran with Landair, was honored and awarded the 2004 Company Driver of the year. Nelson said, "The people here are wonderful to work with. I get all the miles I need and my pay is always on time and correct. I would recommend Landair to any driver that is looking for a reliable company."
