Prime Inc.’s Two Million Miler Program Awards the Elite with the Best

April 26, 2004

Woodrow Richardson shows off his new custom designed leather jacket given to him for being one of Prime’s elite. Mr. Richardson has been with Prime Inc. for fifteen years and was Prime’s Reefer Division Contractor of the Year in 2002. He (with 30 other Prime contractors/drivers) was recently awarded a leather jacket and a charter membership into Prime’s Millionaire Program for two million safe miles. Mr. Richardson and this select group of drivers have a minimum of 15 years of service and completed at least two million miles of safe driving with no preventable accidents. Each member received a custom designed Prime leather jacket, in addition to personalized digitally enhanced photo plaques. One plaque for each member will be placed on a wall in the companies “Hall of Fame” headquartered in Springfield, MO.

“This is a very high quality product. It is a reflection of the respect we have for our top performers,” stated Don Lacy, Prime’s Director of Safety. When asked how tough it is out there on the road, Mr. Richardson said, “…it is very tough. Driving on the roads with cars moving in and out and always in a rush makes it difficult to maintain a safe cushion. Slowing down my average speed has really helped me out. The amount of miles that I accumulate is really not important. I like to stay relaxed and get the load from point A to point B safely,” Mr. Richardson adds.
