Paschall Truck Lines Announces Company Driver and Owner-Operator of the Month

Paschall Truck Lines congratulates Paul Gregory on being named Company Driver of the Month and Stephen Grissom on being named Owner-Operator of the Month.

Gregory has been professionally driving for 17 years and has been with PTL for the past 13 years. He was already accustomed to traveling before becoming a truck driver. Gregory served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and lived all over the world, including Korea, Panama, Vietnam, and Hawaii.

Through driving for PTL, Gregory has been able to see all 50 states, in addition to helping many people who have broken down on the roads over the years. “Luckily I haven’t had too many breakdowns myself, thanks to our great maintenance department,” said Gregory.

Other honors Gregory has received include Driver of the Month in August 1994, 1,100,000 Safe Driving Miles and awards based on his courteous driving skills.

Gregory was honored to receive Driver of the Month and thanked all the fleet managers, especially Tom Smith and Mike Alexander. He also gave a very special thanks to his wife, Margaret for being so understanding and supportive.
Paschall Truck Lines would also like to congratulate Stephen Grissom on being named Owner-Operator of the Month. Grissom has been with PTL for nearly six years and in addition to this award, has also achieved 700,000 Safe Driving Miles.

He says the thing he loves the most about being an owner-operator is being his own boss. “I like the freedom of nobody looking over my shoulder,” he said. The best times Grissom has had on the road have been when his wife tagged along on his Florida runs. “She would take time off and go with me to Disney World, Sea World, etc., it was like being paid to have fun,” he said.

Grissom admits he was surprised to receive the award, but honored. He thanked his wife, Linda, for her patience and support. He also went on to thank his fleet manager, Stephanie, Driver Services and Tom Smith. “He is great I know when I have a problem that Tom will be fair,” Grissom said.
