WEST SIDE TRANSPORT NAMES 2008 DRIVER OF THE YEAR

Cedar Rapids, IA (March 26, 2009) – West Side Transport recently named Dave Fleming as their 2008 Driver of the Year. Fleming, of Stanley, Iowa was selected after being named Driver of the Month in November. He was awarded at West Side’s annual meeting on March 14.

Fleming was selected from a field of 12 Drivers of The Month for 2008. The award is based on outstanding achievement in driven miles, fuel management, service, and professionalism. Lynette Merta, Fleming’s dispatcher, feels he was a great choice for Driver of the Year because he’s always, “going above and beyond what we need as a driver. He’s just a pleasure to work with.”

Company President & CEO, Don Vogt, presented Fleming a check and engraved sculpture during the awards ceremony. Vogt stated, “Fleming exemplifies West Side’s mission by providing total quality service to our customers.”
